Become comfortable digging into security level returns and troubleshoot any large outliers, and explain the drivers of performance to portfolio managers and/or clients service representativesPrepare and analyze daily performance reports for portfolios containing diverse asset classes for senior management Work closely with other members of Operations to create efficiencies, improvements and resolve upstream issues associated with performance returnsReconcile data between the accounting and performance systems to ensure completenessRespond to internal/external ad hoc requests Preferred Qualifications Pursuing CFA and/or CIPM designation preferredSound understanding of fixed income securities desiredMiddle office or accounting/finance experience preferredAdvanced Excel skills requiredKnowledge of GIPS standards and procedures is a plusFamiliarity with FactSet, BI-SAM/B-One, or other performance measurement tools is a plusExcellent time management skillsAbility to operate in a deadline driven environment while still maintaining a strict attention to detail and ability to prioritize issues appropriatelyDemonstrate an ability to take initiative and critically analyze processes and procedures in a push toward constant improvementMust be hands-on and be willing to roll up their sleeves to perform any and all responsibilities needed to ensure successFamiliarity with Python or other programming languages is a plus Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required3+ years of investment performance and/or investment accounting experience preferred Salary Details

Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience.

 

Currently, this role is expected to be in the ­Chicago office at least 4 days per week.
