Job Brief:

The Performance Measurement Team manages the calculations for performance returns for trust accounts on the Global Plus custody system.  Performance Returns are calculated on the First Rate system by an external vendor.  The Performance Team performs processing and monitoring on First Rate.  The team receives inquiries and requests from portfolio managers and works with First Rate to resolve inquiries and fill requests. 

Essential Job Function:

Clear rates of return exceptions for Institutional, Personal Trust & Wealth Management accountsWork closely with Portfolio Managers regarding research requests on client account performanceResearch and resolve complex rate of return exceptionsProvide performance data to internal clientsResearch and correct trust security transactions in the performance systemAdd or modify performance accounts on performance systemPartner with other trust operations areas to ensure proper transaction flow and resolve root cause issuesReport system issues and aid in the resolution with Key Technology Services.Participate in the testing of new system installation and future release upgrades.Cross train on all Performance Measurement processesDocument and maintain new system proceduresGenerate ad hoc reports as requested.Lead performance projects as assigned.Liaison with vendor to resolve issues with returns

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business (preferred Accounting, Finance or Economics) or equivalent work experienceTheoretical understanding of securities and how their processing impacts performanceStrong accounting, analytical and problem-solving skillsProven experience with Microsoft ExcelEffective time management skills and strong attention to detailStrong communication skills, both written and oralStrong organization skills and ability to work under tight deadlinesAbility to learn quicklyAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment or independentlyPositive and professional attitudeEmbrace Continuous Improvement workplace culture
