The Investment & Project Engineer applies engineering skills to solve complex problems, using knowledge of Ecolab's customers and markets. He or she schedules and helps to coordinate innovative, complex projects to meet cost and time objectives, complying with design criteria and standards.

What You Will Do:
• Help operations’ leaders prioritize and work on critical process improvements.
• Own and maintain the process documentation for projects with PEP project execution plan.
• Create and work on projects and is responsible to own timing plans.
• Report timely and accurately to keep stakeholders informed about project progress.
• Build relationships and influence internal and external partners.
• Manage to plan and organize day-to-day tasks across the functions in IMEA with the proper reporting process.
• Create strategic plans to eliminate waste within the process by utilizing lean processes, metrics, cost savings, best demonstrated practices and enterprise resource management.
• Manage capital and non-capital projects to improve capacity, quality, efficiency, utilization, and safety at the lowest cost.
• Reviews control charts/data generated from facility processes to assure they are in a state of statistical control.
• Collaborate with QA and Engineering to set up and conduct capability studies, designed experiments, HAZOP Programs, process validations, to evaluate the manufacturing capability of the new process.
• Read and understand drawings, isometrics, P&ID’s, Mechanical and Electrical specifications, safety and quality standards, and effectively utilize all tools and equipment relevant to the work.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 5 years’ directly related engineering experience
• 1 year experience with TPM
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in an engineering discipline.
• Demonstrated knowledge of project management tools and techniques on cross functional teams.
• Ability to guide and train lower level engineers.
• Demonstrated competence in the management of one or more engineering project concurrently, with emphasis on in-depth technical contribution.
• Current with technology in his/her discipline.
