DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Analyze client's investment objectives, liquidity needs, and risk tolerance. Develop investment policy statements and advise on multi-class asset allocation, portfolio rebalancing and hedging strategies. Research financial market dynamics and evaluate investment opportunities using both proprietary and external financial analysis tools such as Bloomberg and Factset. Monitor market movers and provide clients with prompt updates. Take ownership of managing cross-border ultra-high-net-worth client relationships with Asian nexus and act as the primary source for investment communication. Communicate with clients daily to discuss market outlook and investment opportunities. Independently conduct client meetings and portfolio performance reviews. Provide appropriate investment recommendations across equity, fixed income, derivatives and alternative investments. Propose brokerage trading recommendations. Place brokerage trades across equity, fixed income, FX, and structured derivatives. Advise clients on trade execution across US, Asian and European markets with an understanding of settlement requirement in those markets. Manage sales of complex investment products and collaborate with Lending Advisors, Trust Officers and Wealth Advisors to provide comprehensive cross-border wealth management solutions. Adhere to internal and external policies and procedures regarding securities transactions and code of conduct.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Financial Actuarial Mathematics, Mathematical Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Math, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Investor Specialist, Program Analyst, Analyst, Financial Controlling, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Cross border wealth management including multi-asset investments, credit lending, deposits, trust and financial planning; Sales management for cross border clients with Asia Pacific nexus; Global capital markets; complex financial products including global equities, fixed income (including investment grade, high yield, and securitized credit), equity derivatives, commodities, rates, private equity (including venture capital, growth equity, buyout, and secondaries), hedge funds (including long short equity, global macro, multi-strategy, relative value, and event driven), and other alternative investments; Goal based planning using Monte Carlo simulation and long term capital market assumptions; Trading across equity, fixed income, FX and structured derivatives; Risk management and account operations management; Global macroeconomics and understanding of US, Europe and Asia financial markets; Bloomberg and FactSet; Analyzing financial market dynamics; Financial reporting; Asset allocation; Liquidity cash management and portfolio rebalancing; Financial data analysis..
Job Location: 560 Mission St., San Francisco, CA 94105. This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel.
Full-Time. Salary: $150,000 - $150,000 per year.
