Investor Relations VP
Overview Manage and oversee the communication and relationship between Beazer Homes and its investors, including shareholders, analysts, and the broader financial community. The Investor Relations Director will be responsible for crafting and conveying Beazer’s investment narrative and value proposition to enhance its market perception and attract investments, facilitating access to capital. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Ensures accurate and timely dissemination of financial information, company news, and strategic updates to investors. Organizes quarterly earnings calls, including the preparation of scripts, presentation materials. Partner with senior leaders and Communications Director to write press releases Fields questions from both current and prospective investors Contributes to the company’s annual report Gathers and analyzes investor feedback and market intelligence such as recent news, M&A activity, and analyst commentary on the industry to inform company strategy and decision making. Maintains internal models of the company such as forecasts to field analyst questions. Ensures the company adheres to regulatory requirements related to financial disclosures and reporting Coordinates special events for investors, such as site visits, investor days, and participation in investment conferences to foster direct engagement with the company Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting or related field is required. 7-10 years of relevant experience in finance, investment banking, corporate finance, accounting, or financial analysis. Experience in investor relations is preferred Experience working with public companies and familiarity with regulatory requirements and reporting standards (e.g., SEC filings in the U.S) Skills & Abilities Builds results-oriented relationships and fosters investor confidence Strong financial acumen; understands accounting, financial modeling, market analysis and valuations Demonstrates communication prowess, both written and verbal, to sell the company’s vision to investors Strategic thinking that aligns investor relations activities with the company’s overall business strategy Excellent presentation skills effectively conveying complex financial information to diverse audiences Collaborates well with finance and marketing to ensure a consistent message is communicated in the investment community Physical Requirements Typical office environment 20% business travel Additional Responsibilities The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
