Investor Reporting Analyst
Job Description 1. Supervise and mentor a team of investor reporting analysts. 2. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of loan activity and remittance to various investors and agencies, such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Private Investors. 3. Monitor and reconcile custodial accounts and clear any variances or exceptions. 4. Ensure compliance with investor and agency guidelines, policies, and regulations, such as Fannie Mae Servicer Compliance and USAP. 5. Review and analyze investor reports and provide feedback and recommendations to improve data quality and accuracy. 6. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, such as accounting, servicing, audit, and technology teams, to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to investor reporting. 7. Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity of the investor reporting team. 8. Provide training and support to the investor reporting team and other departments on investor reporting related matters. 9. Prepare and present reports and metrics to senior management and investors on investor reporting performance and results. 10. Identify and define new process improvement opportunities. 11. Draft proposed enhancements to written procedures based on QA findings. 12. Stay informed about industry rules, regulations, and best practices to ensure the testing program meets regulatory standards. 13. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Skills and Requirements - Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage servicing, with at least 3 years in investor reporting. - Strong knowledge of investor and agency reporting requirements and guidelines, such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Servicer Compliance and USAP. - Advanced proficiency in Excel. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - Strong leadership, coaching, and organizational skills. - Ability to advise management and liaise between loan operations, Internal Audit and Risk Management. - Understand Internal Control concepts to advise management on issues. - Advance degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field - Minimum of 7 years of experience in mortgage servicing, with at least 5 years in investor reporting, and 2 years of managing teams. null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
