Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Invoice Specialist in the machinery manufacturing industry, based in Bloomington, Minnesota. In this role, you will be working heavily with SAP Ariba, assisting with supplier onboarding and handling high volume customer service with suppliers. Responsibilities: • Manage the onboarding of suppliers into the SAP Ariba system • Provide high-level customer service to suppliers, addressing their inquiries and concerns • Learn and understand the processes of the Ariba system to effectively guide suppliers • Handle data entry tasks efficiently, ensuring the accuracy of numeric entries • Maintain and strengthen supplier relationships for the company • Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks and data management • Monitor and manage supplier accounts, taking appropriate actions when necessary • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations within the manufacturing industry • Maintain a comprehensive and updated record of supply agreements • Work towards the expansion of the supplier base, identifying and engaging potential suppliers. Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the machinery manufacturing industry • Proficiency in SAP and SAP Ariba is required • Comprehensive knowledge of the manufacturing industry and its processes • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with numeric data entry • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on maintaining positive relationships with customers • Experience with supply agreements and understanding of their function in the manufacturing industry • Ability to identify potential suppliers and expand the supplier base • Proven track record of effective supplier relationship management • Experience dealing with vendors and suppliers in a manufacturing context • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple suppliers and manage relationships effectively Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
