About the role:
Direct activities related to cocoa bean shipments from receipt of shipping documents to destination ports. Where applicable, receives and stores cocoa beans in destination port warehouses for later delivery to BC Plants or TP Customers. Facilitates a cost-effective flow of cargo. Supports the Team Lead to achieve cost-optimization or cost-avoidance along the logistic chain from the shipping document process to the delivery to customers.
Key responsibilities:
Organization of the internal and external document flow for physical purchases and sales of cocoa beans Monitoring and coordination of deliveries by sea and ex warehouse in cooperation with suppliers, forwarding agents and shipping companies, including vendor managed inventory (VMI) Reviewing, approval, booking and issuing of all invoices that are related to the buying and selling transactions and that comply with the company's internal guidelines Storage of cocoa beans, monitoring of storage lots, maintenance of data, control and booking of all warehouse bills Check and handle quality and weight claim invoices Monitor and update any certification portals (Rainforest Alliance / Fairtrade / Organic), securing full traceability of cocoa beans Support on Stock transfer operations (REPO, Terminal Market activities) Support different audit activities (internal audits, external certification bodies, physical inventory counts) Support on business confirmation/contract signature activity processes Support archiving activities Create and/or maintain vendor and bank accounts in SAP/PolomasAbout you:
Bachelor degree of Logistics, Business Administrator or Economics English (oral and written), French & German (beneficial) Minimum 3 years of work experience in International Trading Company or Forwarding/ Logistics Company or in Supply Chain or in Order Processing Excellent knowledge of MS office and web-based systems
