Summary – basic function of the role We are seeking an experienced IO Controller to join our Hydratight team in Cramlington, Northumberland. This full-time, office-based role focuses on supporting production by managing ERP system master stock files, ensuring robust and accurate data, and overseeing tasks such as engineering change notes, job closures, and material confirmations. Ideal candidates will have experience with ERP systems (preferably Oracle, including R12), master data management, bills of materials (BOMs), and routine documents, with a strong manufacturing background and involvement in ERP implementations. Your expertise will help drive efficiency and maintain the integrity of our operational systems. Job Duties and Responsibilities Communicate and enforce HSSEQ rules and regulations across the organization, promoting safety awareness and improvement initiatives. Represent the company professionally, ensuring compliance with policies and championing Health & Safety at all times. Manage and maintain accurate ERP system master stock files. Update and construct Bills of Materials (BOMs) to meet customer demands and ensure timely delivery. Ensure compliance with system requirements, addressing and reporting non-conformances. Align routings with current manufacturing principles and maintain accurate cost files. Plan and coordinate stock-checking programs in line with company requirements. Participate in 6S activities and support continuous improvement initiatives. Adhere to quality management and environmental system procedures. Skills, Competencies and Experience Background in stock control and warehousing operations. Familiarity with machined components and final assembly processes. Skilled in operating ERP systems. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
