Legacy Treatment Services is a vibrant nonprofit behavioral health organization that utilizes cutting-edge technology and evidence-based practice in treatment and clinical care. Legacy provides services to over 20,000 adults, youth, and adolescents throughout 17 counties in New Jersey. Our programs provide a complement of services for most ages and needs. This continuum is designed to meet the complex needs of each individual and creates a continuum of services that are able to meet the needs of children, adults, and families through a continuum of services utilizing an integrated care model. We are dedicated to seeking new innovative solutions that help us provide needed services more efficiently while maintaining stable, sustainable growth. Title: Co-Occurring Therapist Salary: $55000 to $65000 / annually depending upon education, experience, and licensure. This is a 40-hour full-time benefitted position which includes some evenings required: Free Supervision provided towards licensure Free CEU training opportunities, paid training days Reoccurring Six-Month Retention Bonus 3.2 weeks of PTO in the first year Medical, vision, dental & life insurance benefits 403(b) employee participation and employer match 9 Agency-paid holidays Plans, organizes, and implements clinical social work services to consumers and families involved in the Co-occurring IOP Program. Plans for discharge and aftercare. Maintains contact with referring agencies and related people and with community resources used for referral. Maintains treatment records according to agency standards and regulations. Ensures coordination of care with SCIP, local and state hospitals, and other treatment team members for consumers. Maintains positive working relationships with community agencies. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any age-related needs of the consumers served. Demonstrates the knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the consumer population served. Must be able to assess and interpret data about the consumer’s status in order to identify each consumer’s needs and provide care based on agency approved evidence based practice models. MSW from an accredited school of social work or Master’s degree in a related counseling field with at least one year of experience required. Clinical license or license eligibility is required. Must be able to work under required deadlines and schedules, while being flexible to special projects and requests. Must be able to professionally handle stressful situations. Must possess a valid driver’s license and if duties require driving, be able to drive an agency owned vehicle.
