Job Description:
The IoT Installation Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of technicians and installers to deliver high-quality, timely, and safe installations of IoT devices and systems for clients. The primary objective of this role is to ensure seamless installation, testing, and maintenance operations, while driving team performance, efficiency, and compliance with industry regulations and company policies. The successful candidate will achieve this by providing technical expertise, troubleshooting, and support, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize scheduling, resource allocation, and performance tracking. The end result is to consistently meet or exceed client expectations, while identifying areas for improvement and driving process enhancements to increase overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Education and Experience:
o Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., electrical engineering, computer science, telecommunications) or equivalent experience.
o Experience: At least 5 years of experience in IoT installation, technical supervision, or a related field, with a focus on:
o Installation, testing, and troubleshooting of IoT systems
o Technical leadership and supervision of field-based teams
o Project management and coordination of IoT installations
Technical Skills:
o Strong knowledge of IoT devices, systems, and technologies (e.g., sensors, actuators, gateways, networks)
o Proficiency in installation, testing, and troubleshooting of IoT systems
o Experience with industry-standard tools and software (e.g., specialized software, testing equipment)
o Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and IoT data analytics
Soft Skills:
o Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
o Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
o Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
o Effective time management and organizational skills
Certifications: Industry-recognized certifications in IoT or a related field (e.g., IoT Security, IoT Architecture) are a plus, but not required.

• Experience with industry-standard certifications and compliance requirements
Tools and Software:
• Familiarity with IoT-specific software and platforms (e.g., device management, data analytics)
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project)
• Knowledge of help desk software and ticketing systems
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Other:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
