IQA Technician
**Job Title: IQA Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a detail-oriented IQA Technician to support our manufacturing and testing operations. The ideal candidate will adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) to meet regulatory requirements for receiving and inspection. This role ensures that all parts are compliant before reaching the manufacturing floor or the customer. **Responsibilities** + Support manufacturing and testing operations adhering to GMP and GLP. + Perform job duties in accordance with Global and Technical standards and comply with Quality System (QS) requirements. + Ensure parts are compliant for manufacturing and customer delivery. + Complete tier 1 & tier 2 inspections to test inbound material used to assemble complex medical devices. + Conduct manual routine inspections using hand tools such as calipers, gauges, rulers, and visual inspections (Tier 1). + Operate advanced upper-level instrumentation including 3D/2D Digital Measuring Projector and Optical Testing and Visualization Instruments (Tier 2). + Inspect printed material such as labeling, manuals, print inserts, and CDs. + Accept and reject supplier lots based on inspection results and document non-conformance or suspected non-conformance to standards. + Review applicable sampling plans and control plans to verify product and service quality. + Interpret drawings and perform comparisons between supplier and internal measurement/inspection methods. + Provide alternative inspection methods and use technical knowledge to acquire, analyze, and interpret data for problem solving. + Perform set-up, testing, and troubleshooting of area-specific equipment, materials, systems, and/or product. + Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements. + Comply with FDA regulations, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. + Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety SOPs, equipment, policies, and procedures. **Essential Skills** + High School Diploma or GED required. + 2-5 years of experience in Quality performing inspection. + Experience with measurement equipment, hand tools, gages, pressure, and force gage testing. + Training in blueprint reading and experience with inspection sampling techniques. + Knowledge of FDA and GMP regulations. + Good communication and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with quality inspection, quality control, blueprint reading, micrometers, visual inspection, and quality assurance. **Why Work Here?** Our company values continuous quality improvement and offers a supportive environment where initiative, creativity, and leadership are encouraged.
