This position is Continental Weekend Day Shift Thursday / Friday - Sunday 6AM - 6PM
JOB SUMMARY
To lead, motivate a team of IQC inspectors to ensure the incoming materials are inspected in compliance with work instruction, specification or customer requirements. To first respond and coordinate the supplier quality issues designing and driving containment actions along with supplier corrective action validations reporting to SQE.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as a link between IQC inspector and Quality Supervisor & SQE to provide routine support to inspectors and feedback task status.Work to design and coordinate effective containment actions upon occurrence within supplier quality issues on the production floor, validate the designed supplier corrective actions and its sustainability.Coordinate FAI for materials with applied corrective actions from the supplier.Assign and change Inspection Plans to materials at incoming in SAP.Provide data to SQE in a timely manner.To assist Supervisor carry out the task assigned to their team in timely completion.Perform day to day incoming inspection activities whenever necessary.Provide training to new IQC inspectors till they are familiar with the whole processes.Provide instruction to IQC inspectors when new requirements are released from DCC, work cell or customer.To assign the routine task to inspectors properly and monitor the status.Lead the team to compliance with the work instructions and company policy, keeping the work area neat and clear.To be skillful of SAP system and ensure the inspection results are recorded into SAP correctly.Escalating issues and quality trends to department leadershipTo find IQC technician or supervisor support on doubt or urgent case.May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.JOB QUALIFICATIONS and KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, suppliers and the general public.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts based on data, draw valid conclusions and create simple reports.Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.Basic PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.IPC-A-600 Acceptability of Printed Boards certification.Ability to write simple correspondence.
