**Job Summary**
As an Interventional Radiology RN, you will use nursing expertise to deliver patient care with the healthcare team. Your tasks include evaluating health, identifying issues, creating care plans, and tracking treatment responses. You will help patients navigate their healthcare safely. You will use knowledge of needs to prevent issues.
**What You'll Do**
+ Prioritizing patient and family needs is crucial. Responsibilities involve developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans. Adjustments are made as needed.
+ Making a safe place for patients, families, staff is vital.
+ This includes maintaining confidentiality and voicing patient concerns when necessary.
+ The successful candidate will manage learning for patients and families and help nursing staff growth. Knowledge sharing in the health care team and community is also promoted.
+ The perfect candidate partners effectively with team members and the community to implement a cohesive care plan.
+ The candidate must recognize limited resources and prioritize safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care.
+ Encourage professional growth by contributing to a positive work environment and supporting peers' professional development. Participation in continued education and community service is valued.
**What Will Make You Successful In The Role**
+ A basic understanding of the patient care practices, medical terminology, medications, and equipment used in interventional radiology nursing.
+ You must communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, to engage with different groups effectively.
+ Critical thinking and problem-solving for providing optimal patient care.
+ The ability to track changes in patients' health and communicate clearly with nurses and doctors.
+ Basic computer skills, particularly knowledge of electronic medical documentation systems and email.

**Qualifications**
+ Grad of an Accredited Program or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
+ The applicant's major field of study should be Nursing.
+ Candidates must be Registered Nurses.
+ A BLS certification is required or must obtain within 30 days of hire
