IS Application Development Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in artificial intelligence and software development to drive innovation and business transformation. You will use your knowledge and skills to design, develop, and maintain both new and legacy applications while integrating AI capabilities to enhance their functionality. Additionally, you will apply your AI expertise to build, train, and maintain machine learning models that deliver actionable insights, optimize processes, and support strategic decision-making. This role is at the intersection of software development, business process integration, and AI innovation, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of our technology landscape.The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-OnsiteYou will be mainly accountable for:•\tExecuting IS activities within all IS process domains, focusing on distinct applications “build and run” to support local and global Motion business needs while collaborating with business users and cross-functional teams to understand business processes and identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions•\tUtilize programming languages such as C# and Python to build, deploy, and maintain applications and integrations utilizing AI models, design, develop, and deploy AI models to enhance decision-making, improve operations, and solve key business problems•\tIntegrate AI models with new and legacy software systems, including SAP ERP modules, to streamline workflows and deliver actionable insights and develop and maintain software within the SAP and .Net landscapes to support AI models with integrated systems•\tUtilize data analytics and data science techniques to derive insights from structured and unstructured data, driving business strategy and performance improvements while building and maintaining data pipelines to ensure efficient AI model training and deployment

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor's Degree with minimum 2 years experience with preferred degrees being Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.Additional Preferred Experience Includes: \tProficiency in programming languages such as Python and C#, .Net\tExperience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn.\tUnderstanding of data pipelines, data analytics, model evaluation techniques, version control systems (Git).\tFamiliarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and APIs for software integration.\tCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
