Description We are seeking an experienced and innovative Cloud Engineering Lead to oversee the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will lead a team of engineers, driving cloud strategy, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security of cloud environments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and efficient solutions. As a hands-on leader, you will remain deeply involved in day-to-day technical decision-making, actively guiding architectural direction, coding practices, and infrastructure deployments to ensure the highest quality outcomes. The position offers a compensation range of $152,000 - $161,000 with a 20% annual incentive opportunity. This is a hybrid role based at our Downtown Manhattan headquarters. Key Responsibilities: + Lead and mentor cloud engineering team while maintaining technical involvement + Design and implement scalable cloud solutions aligned with business goals + Oversee cloud operations, automation, and cost optimization + Partner with InfoSec to maintain cloud security and compliance + Collaborate across teams to drive cloud initiatives and communicate with leadership Required Qualifications: + Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience + 7+ years cloud engineering experience (3+ years leadership) + Expertise in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) + Infrastructure as code proficiency (Terraform, CloudFormation) + Strong containerization knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes) + Cloud security and compliance expertise + CI/CD and DevOps experience + Outstanding communication and leadership abilities Preferred: + Cloud architect certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) + Multi-cloud/hybrid cloud implementation experience + Agile and project management background + Programming skills in Python, Go, Java Named one of the 50 best nonprofits to work for by the Non-Profit Times, our employees enjoy rewarding careers in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
