SPECIAL NOTES
\nWe are building out a large team for EPIC functionality. We will need multiple roles filled between December thru April for skilled people which extensive EPIC build experience (installed and being installed). These are hybrid roles designed for those in the DFW area, as they will be onsite at least once per week to support \"Go Lives\". We may consider further distances outside of DFW, but would need to be onsite once per month.
\n\nJOB SUMMARY
\nThe EPIC Application Analyst II is primarily accountable to configure and provide intermediate functional and technical help for the specific application or set of applications to a variety of business and clinical users. In addition, part of the responsibility is to join with end users to know about the workflow and its interdependencies and make corrective adjustments or enhancements. This role is the central point of communication for a variety of users and will coordinate all activities on behalf of the IS organization.
\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
\n\nAssists with the test recommendations for corrective actions and resolution of problems within the software application.\nCreates and executes test scripts for new system builds timely and effectively.\nProvides testing and documentation of workflows, data collections, end-user report details and other technical issues associated with applications, applying both vendor and internal stakeholder consideration.\nCreates, modifies and tracks system build timely and effectively.\nProvides help for normal maintenance of upgrades and system maintenance.\nImplements system updates and changes, and communicates those changes to super users and end users.\nProvides ongoing application help and end user training for all helped applications.\nEngages, manages, and communicates to all stakeholders.\nSolves problems by studying business issues and requirements, studying workflows and synthesizing key messages.\nAssists in the coordination of training materials and schedules for all super users and end users, and serves as liaison between end users, subject matter experts and vendor implementation team.\n\nKEY SUCCESS FACTORS
\n\nWorking knowledge of end user workflows; has an expertise of the workflows and the inputs/outputs from an end user and patient perspective.\nAbility and experience knowledge end user workflow and owning the technical components of that workflow.\nAbility to work well in team environments and facilitate integrated meetings.\nProficient with word processing, spreadsheets, workflow tools, and email software applications in an intermediate capacity.\nDemonstrates customer-oriented service excellence methods.\nSelf-motivated with ability to identify and resolve issues, and advance personal knowledge.\nAbility to execute complex tasks through organization and details motivated approach.\nDemonstrates excellent face-to-face communication skills, among facility customers and team members.\nA motivated, quick learner of software and information technology.\nProficient in accurate, thorough and complete documentation.\nEpic application knowledge to build, test, help and train.\n\nBENEFITS
