This job manages Epic application and assumes responsibility for new development and existing production support; manages day-to-day individual and team dynamics, work prioritization, fiscal stewardship, and management of all aspects of a project life cycle. This position provides mentoring and coaching associated with performance development and project management and makes decisions that influence the project on a large scale.

Education 

Required - High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred - Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration or related field


Work Experience

Required - 7 years related healthcare or project and team management experience including two years in a supervisory/management capacity (experience should include leading large, complex system integration efforts or large software application projects)
Preferred - Additional degrees,  business training experience and/or certifications may be combined to meet minimum qualifications.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.Strong interpersonal skills.Strong partnering, coaching, and mentoring skills.Strong budget and schedule management skills ensuring the business community is engaged in the project.Problem solving skills and continuous process improvement skills.Time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to remain dedicated to client service.Judgment skills to think clearly in complex, dynamic situations.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Negotiation skills to work with various parties towards a mutually acceptable business solution.Ability to work flexible schedule, such as evenings, nights, weekends, extended shifts, etc.
