Your role and responsibilities

Are you passionate about technology and innovation? Do you have a strong background in software development and application architecture? We are excited to announce the creation of a new team dedicated to developing and maintaining a world class sales configurators platform. We are looking for talented individual who are enthusiastic about collaboration, eager for professional growth, and ready to make a significant impact. In this role you will take an active part in the design, development and maintenance of the future sales configurators' platform . Making sure that it adhere to the business requirements, ABB IS security/compliance policies and standards. You will closely collaborate with business process owners, functional analysts , solutions architects and other IS teams to assure target solution support the division business strategy.Responsibilities:• Lead, guide and mentorship team members.• Develop software that meets the requirement specification• Contribute to the solution and application architecture design of the sales configurator's platform• Oversee the development process and ensure high-quality, timely delivery of software projects• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.• Drive innovation and foster a culture of creativity within the team.• Ensure solution stays complaint with relevant ABB and external regulations • Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges throughout the development lifecycle

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in the software development process.Experience in programming languages: C# (mandatory); At least two of the following: Java, Visual Basic, JavaScript, PythonExperience in relational databases technology – MS SQL Server and T-SQL is preferredKnowledge of security standards and protocols, authentication and authorization mechanismsProven experience with MS Azure technology stackExperience in developing enterprise solutions with complex integrationsProficiency in application architecture, design patterns, application profiling and optimizationExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
