Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead/manage/supervise a function/organization/department/team in the development, and/or implementation and/or execution in their own area of responsibility. Each day, you will be accountable for the delivery of solutions, and enhancements, creating technology roadmaps that align organizational plans with emerging technology solutions. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring efficient service capabilities.The work model for the role is hybrid in Cary, NC. You will be mainly accountable for:• Define organizational structure to support business strategies and align with corporate goals.• Establish and communicate the strategy for managing information, including policies and procedures.• Deliver capabilities and technology roadmaps that align with organizational plans.• Define, maintain, and implement frameworks, processes, and models for asset lifecycle management.• Set and deliver global function KPIs, objectives, and targets to management and stakeholders.• Measure and improve the effectiveness of technologies and customer experiences.• Lead cross-functional teams for sustainable maintenance of services and solutions.• Plan and manage risk assessment and mitigation processes.• Establish and manage analytics to generate insights and drive decision-making.• Engage senior managers to ensure portfolio alignment with business objectives and strategy.
Qualifications for the roleBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Technology, or a related field. Master’s degrees and MBAs are highly desirable. 20+ years of experience leading IT projects and programs (ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Software Deployment, etc.). Experience leading at least two SAP S/4 deployments as either domain lead or in a project manager capacity is required. Experience with multiple non-finance SAP S/4 modules is required. Executive presence and ability to communicate with C-level is required. Experience budgeting and executing large-scale and complex programs and ongoing support activities with CAPEX above $5M is required. Experience with SAP S/4 Public Cloud is highly desirable. Candidates should understand financial statements, cost-benefit analysis, and resource allocation to optimize budget utilization. Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across different departments. Effective communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Availability to travel globally. Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
