IS Project Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to own software solution architecture across multiple architecture categories and ensure its alignment with enterprise and data architecture standards. Each day, you will be responsible for the design and build, integrity, and quality of an Information Systems (IS) solution and associated IS services delivered to business. You will also showcase your expertise by consulting, advising, and supporting on the installation of new IS solutions/services, or changing existing IS solutions/services.The work model for the role is onsite in Byhalia, MSYou will be mainly accountable for:o Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to define requirements and deliver functional specifications and technical solution design and implementation for WMS solutions.o Lead the configuration and development of Blue Yonder WMS based on business requirements, ensuring alignment with operational and IT architectural goals.o Maintain design blueprints for system integrations between WMS and other enterprise systems in the surrounding ecosystem (e.g., ERP, TMS, OT/PLC software, etc.).o Analyze and document business processes aligned to proposed solution design to identify system improvements, gaps, or inefficiencies in warehouse operations and technical implementation in the WMS system.o Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for Blue Yonder WMS implementation or upgrades.o Conduct detailed gap analysis to ensure the WMS solution meets operational and business needs.o Lead functional testing efforts, including unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing for WMS enhancements or upgrades.o Identify, track, and resolve system defects or issues during testing phases.o Provide day-to-day support for end-users, addressing system-related inquiries and troubleshooting functional issues.o Conduct training sessions for warehouse staff and key users on WMS functionality and best practices.o Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements within the WMS to optimize efficiency, reduce errors, and improve overall warehouse operations.o Keep up to date with new Blue Yonder WMS releases and functionality and evaluate how new features can benefit the business
Qualifications for the roleo Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.o Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in implementing, configuring and developing in Blue Yonder WMS (formerly JDA WMS).o Hands-on experience with WMS systems, particularly Blue Yonder (JDA), with strong knowledge of core warehouse processes (inventory management, picking, packing, shipping, etc.).o Experience with system integration, data migration, and troubleshooting within warehouse environments.o Strong understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain best practices.o Proficiency in system configuration, development and functional analysis of WMS software.o Familiarity with system testing methodologies (unit testing, UAT) and related tools.o Blue Yonder WMS certification or equivalent functional certifications are a plus.o Familiarity with SQL or other query tools for data analysis and reporting.o Basic understanding of integration tools and techniques (APIs, EDI, etc.) is a plus.o Experience with Blue Yonder’s suite of supply chain solutions (e.g., TMS, forecasting, replenishment) preferred.o Experience in Agile or Scrum environments preferred.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
