IS Technical Specialist
Description

Summary:

The ETL IS Technical Specialist provides technical and consultative support on the most complex technical matters. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based upon user specifications. Provides technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems. Possesses an in-depth knowledge of and works with the technical tools available for systems development and support.Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends, particularly as they apply to Huntington. May assist with identifying training needs or with training of less experienced staff. May serve as project leader for specific projects.Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree5+ years development, software engineering, in a data warehouse environment including cloud infrastructure5+ years experience designing, developing and operating robust and highly-scalable cloud infrastructure services.  5+ years experience with development and programming in Python/PySpark, DataStage ETL and SQL development. 5+ years experience with cloud infrastructure projects with hands on migration expertise on public clouds environments5+ years experience IAM (Authentication & Authorization Services)3+ years of ETL development experience within a Data Warehouse environment3+ years experience with IBM Datastage,3+ years database experience with Snowflake, MySql, Oracle, SQL Server3+ years Workflow Orchestration & Automation experience with Zena3+ years experience with AWS S3, AWS Lamda, AWS EC23+ years Data Governance experience with Infogix3+ years Version Control & CI/CD experience with Git, Jenkins3+ years Agile Scrum experience with Azure Dev Ops

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Office experience Experience working in multi-platform environmentAbility to balance both development and support rolesExperience in working on projects that involve business segmentsStrong analytical, strong troubleshooting skills and excellent communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills, focus on customer service, and the ability to work well with other IT, vendor, and business groups
