Position: Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Liaison Officer (ISRLO) IIQC Instructor Location: Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, Nevada
About the Role:
Step into an exciting role within the National Security Sector at Leidos, where you’ll have the chance to shape the future of ISR operations! As an ISRLO IIQC Instructor, you will be at the forefront of training personnel for the Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission. This is more than just a job—it's an opportunity to leave a lasting impact on national security.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
Inspire and Educate: Provide top-tier initial qualification training (IQT) to support ISR operations across various levels including Squadron, Operational Support Squadron, Group, or Wing.
Develop and Innovate: Create engaging course materials, develop dynamic training exercises, and keep the curriculum cutting-edge with the latest technology and system updates.
Lead and Assess: Deliver pre-mission briefings and conduct academic testing to ensure training effectiveness.
Training topics include ISRLO collection platform fundamentals (RADAR/IR theory, SIGINT, GEOINT, Special Payloads, Weapons Capabilities/employment and Threats), Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment, and an introduction to core Air Force mission sets such as Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance, Close Air Support, Combat Search and Rescue, Counter-land, Counter-Sea, and Strike Coordination and Reconnaissance.
What We're Looking For:
Expertise and Experience: Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience or Master's degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Clearance: Must have a current TOP SECRET SCI clearance.
Instructional Mastery: Proven instructor experience with strong knowledge of ISRLO Operations.
Desirable Skills:
Background in 14N or 1NO.
JTAC/FTAC, ISRLO, or ground force experience
