Summary The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Directorate for Mission Integration (MI) creates a consistent and holistic view of intelligence from collection to analysis and serves as the Director of National Intelligence's (DNI) principal advisor on all aspects of intelligence. MI integrates mission capabilities, informs enterprise resource and policy decisions, and ensures the delivery of timely, objective, accurate, and relevant intelligence. Responsibilities Major Duties and Responsibilities: Draft presentations of findings, conclusions, options, and recommendations to ODNI and IC senior management. Evaluate, integrate, review and develop planning efforts for the area of responsibility in coordination and collaboration with other U.S. Government agencies. Lead, initiate, cultivate, and maintain productive working relationships with senior policymakers across the IC in order to coordinate space-related strategy development activities and evolving requirements and promote the implementation of mission and enterprise objectives. Lead, plan, and prepare briefings, reports, and presentations to organizational leadership, senior policymakers, and senior United States (U.S.) Government agencies USG officials in a manner that meets their specified requirements and provide expert analysis and recommendations that ensure IC space-related strategic plans and programs align with strategic objectives. Lead and oversee the planning, development, and evaluation of space-related strategic planning documents in support of U.S. Government agencies national security and foreign policy interests and programs. Lead and oversee the planning, development, and production of space-related strategic guidance for the allocation of resources and investment planning and programming staff elements and activities. Develop near/mid/long term space-related strategy documents that provide guidance to needs/requirements and resource/investment planning and programming staff elements/activities. Lead and oversee efforts to engage senior IC leadership on space-related strategic priorities, intelligence needs/gaps, and cross-IC inter-dependencies in order to link resources to strategy. Support briefings to senior IC officials and other major stakeholders' collaboration progress, issues and challenges. Advise and engage senior IC leadership on space-related strategic priorities, opportunities, gaps, and inter-dependencies to link resources to strategy; lead and oversee the communication of emerging strategic issues and trends, independently evaluate against IC strategic elements, and make recommendations for improvements. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a current permanent ODNI employee. OR Must be a current permanent Federal employee Must have supervisory approval to apply to the Joint Duty Assignment. Must be currently at the grade level of the detail. *No Temporary Promotion Opportunity* The program does not apply to members of the Military service or contractors. Qualifications Mandatory Requirements: Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative work environment with diverse mission partners. Extensive knowledge and experience with the formulation, development, production and evaluation of space-related policies, in collaboration with the National Security Council and the National Space Council. Demonstrated knowledge of space-related issues Demonstrated knowledge of the National Security Space Community Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the Department of Defense space community. Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate the integration of existing and emerging interagency capabilities to accomplish operational or strategic objectives. Demonstrated ability to develop innovative and flexible solutions for complex cross-organizational issues, taking initiative and making key contributions to group efforts. Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including a demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team or collaborative environment. Demonstrated ability to lead interagency planning efforts for complex interagency projects, taking into account a diverse range of considerations and ensuring that the activities can be successfully completed. Must have experience working with the US Government (preferably with the IC or DOD) Education Bachelors degree or four years related experience. Salary Determination: A current Federal Government employee, selected for a detail, will be assigned to the position at their current grade and salary.
