JOB SUMMARY
As the IT Analyst at Habit Burger & Grill, you responsible for the setup, configuration, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of software and hardware systems across restaurant locations. This role requires a blend of analytical expertise, technical knowledge of restaurant systems, project management skills, and effective communication, all within diverse work environments. A primary focus of this position is to enhance business operations while minimizing disruptions to guest interactions and daily restaurant activities. In this role, you will work closely with internal teams and third-party vendors, providing support and fostering collaboration.
This position is based at our headquarters in Irvine, CA, with some travel to field locations as needed ~10% to 40% and will occasionally work irregular hours (nights/weekends) as needed to implement system changes.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Technical Analysis and Documentation:
Analyze technical requirements and document system functionalities and workflows. Collaborate with development teams to implement system changes, enhancements, and integrations.
Testing and Troubleshooting:
Conduct thorough testing prior to initiative launches to identify and resolve bugs effectively. Document system functionalities and configurations to support troubleshooting efforts. Monitor and troubleshoot payment processing issues, ensuring compliance and operational/data integrity.
Support and Training:
Provide comprehensive support for all systems (hardware and software) across restaurant environments, including payment platforms, third party delivery platforms, and loyalty program systems addressing issues promptly, including on-site support as necessary. Develop and maintain detailed documentation and training materials for restaurant systems.
Continuous Improvement:
Organize and track project tasks, timelines, and deliverables, and communicate effectively with vendors and internal IT teams. Lead the deployment and maintenance of restaurant systems, including software updates and troubleshooting. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology, making recommendations for system enhancements. Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to restaurant systems to ensure operational continuity.
Knowledge Management:
Maintain a knowledge repository for all systems and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for training-related needs. Regularly update training materials to reflect system changes and ensure accessibility for IT team members.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of experience as a IT Analyst or in a similar role, managing and supporting enterprise networks preferred. Proficient in troubleshooting the intricate landscape of restaurant IT, with expertise in industry-specific systems such as KDS system datasets and workflows (QSR Automation preferred), Menu Management, POS systems, POS administration/management, payment platforms, loyalty programs, third party delivery services/platforms, and restaurant support tools Ability to work on and troubleshoot hardware in the restaurants or in the lab Up to 4 weeks of vacation per year plus additional sick days
COMPENSATION
Hourly Range: $33.60 to $39.51 hourly + bonus eligibility. This is the expected range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
