Summary:
The Business Analyst Intern will learn GAF’s business, participate in the analysis and documentation of requirements/user stories, and collaborate with the project team during the delivery and support of various GAF IT applications.
Essential Duties:
60% Learn and apply the fundamentals of Business Analysis, such as: elicitation (interviews, workshops, surveys), and documentation (user stories, business/functional requirements, use cases, workflow/swim lane diagrams, interface designs)
Gain an understanding of GAF’s applications and roof manufacturing.
Gain knowledge of business processes and participate in an IT project.
Understand the business needs and requests of the project stakeholders, and collaborate with other Business Analysts, during the creation of requirements/user stories that are understandable by the business representatives and IT staff.
Attain knowledge of the area assigned, participate in meetings, and provide updates to the manager.
20% Collaborate with Business Analyst colleagues, IT Development and QA teams
Learn about the UAT process, and interact with the business team during system testing
20% Perform other duties as assigned.

Student in a Bachelor’s Degree program in: Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
0-2 years of IT and business/industry work experience
