IT Application Professional I - II
Job Title: Applications Professional II Job Summary: We are seeking an Applications Professional II with 3-5 years of SCADA experience to join a solid SCADA team. The ideal candidate will have experience with UCOS, AVEVA, Schneider, OSISoft PI, and OPC, as well as programming languages including C#, Python, VBS, and SQL. Experience with HMI, PLC, and DCS is also important. A strong attention to detail and team-oriented mindset are essential. Experience within the energy industry is preferred. Familiarity with SCADA software packages AVEVA Enterprise and AVEVA OASyS is a plus but not required. Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma Job Profile Summary: Participate, with general supervision, in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for both package and custom-developed applications, including software design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance activities. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: + Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions with general supervision. + Create and update system documentation and training materials. + Develop reliable and scalable software solutions according to business priorities. + Influence others through explanation of facts, policies, and practices. + Participate in projects and processes throughout the system development lifecycle. + Gather and document business requirements from users. + Coordinate and communicate development activities with team members, infrastructure personnel, vendors, and management. + Follow defined change control and compliance procedures. + Deploy existing solutions in other business areas. + Interact with business users via consulting and training. + Collaborate with key process owners on documentation of application defects, enhancements, and projects. + Review the work of lower-level professionals. + Solve difficult, but not complex, problems. Education: + Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, computer science, mathematics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and job-related experience. Work Experience: + Experience with at least one development language and/or software development project. + Experience with software development and programming concepts/techniques. + Experience with database management systems. + Experience with software development lifecycle methodology and basic project management concepts. + Experience with basic technology infrastructure concepts. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: + Proficiency in the use and function of office equipment, including computers and applicable software. + Ability to apply math, algebra, and statistical methods. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to conduct oral presentations and/or meetings.
