Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager IT Applications Software Architect. The IT Applications Software Architect will lead design activities across multiple business functions, applications and systems. Under limited supervision, you will act as a subject matter expert in the installation, design, configuration or specialized testing of applications to support business strategies. What you will do: 

Expert in implementation of new designs and processes for enterprise-level IT applications, within a global business Uses professional concepts in accordance with company objectives to solve extremely complex problems in creative and effective ways Advises and regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers Leads development or defines new theories and methods Works on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables Exercises independent judgment in developing and approving methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results Contributes technical guidance to the development of applications to support business strategies Oversees and approves application and system documentation used in design, testing or programming efforts Recommends new technologies and leads the development of new IT standards and processes based on industry standards and best practices Provides mentoring for other team members

Minimum Qualifications: 

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field 10+ years of IT application solution experience with high-level problem solving and technical project management or equivalent combination of education and 8+ years' experience required Experience managing and successfully implementing complex application solutions producing highly reliable, high volume application infrastructures with high quality documentation for the support of such systems Capability to recommend and lead implementation of new designs and processes for enterprise-level IT applications, within a global business Experience with communicating IT vision and strategy to IT and Business Leaders Broad experience with emerging industry and IT trends Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
