In the role of Application Administrator 1, we'll count on you to:

Perform administration of production application systems under direction of more senior staffConduct technology implementation tasks under direction of higher-level technical and managerial staffProvide problem resolution of production application systemsComplete service requests related to assigned systemsPerform day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting tasks for production application systemsResearch, review and analyze system modifications/patches/upgrades for applicability to assigned systemsProduce and maintain documentation for assigned systemsAssist with packaging, testing, deployment and sunsetting of commercial application software including new products, upgrades, and patchesCoordinate with Application Managers and product stakeholdersOccasionally work after-hours and weekends to complete special assignments, changes, or incident responseOccasionally travel for operational requirementsPerform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum three (3) years experience preferredMicrosoft Windows Server 2016/2019 OS administration experienceApplication packaging and deployment experienceCommercial application troubleshooting experiencePowerShell automation experienceVMWare virtualization fundamentalsNetwork troubleshooting fundamentalsSQL, MySQL DB2 database fundamentalsWebSphere/WebLogic/IIS fundamentalsUnderstanding of NIST 800-171 cybersecurity controlsFamiliarity with Architecture/Engineering/Construction operations Reputation as a reliable troubleshooter prior to escalating application service requests and incidentsActive participation on a SME team that addresses application issuesActive participation in IT initiatives that address application upgrades/deployments/sunsetsLocal candidates preferredThis role is ineligible for Visa sponsorshipRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/MIS-related area or equivalent work experience Good communication skills Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner when providing support for customer problem resolution Self-starter with the ability to perform assigned administration tasks with minimal supervision Attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) Folsom CA: $60,214.00 - $86,020; Bellevue WA: $65,688 - $93,840.00; Irvine CA: $62,951.00 - $89,930.00
