Our client is looking for a IT Applications Associate on a 11-month contract in Memphis, TN.

Contract Duration: 11 Months
**Required Skills & Experience**
+ 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Knowledge of Informatica and SQL.
+ Working knowledge of UNIX command line interface.
+ Strong knowledge of PL/SQL or similar procedural language.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills.
+ Ingenuity and creativity.
+ Logical approach to problem solving.
+ Analytical capabilities.

**Desired Skills & Experience**
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
+ Major in information systems or computer science.
+ Language development courses in relevant and applicable language and/or business analytical experience.
+ Education in interpreting user requirements, business applications design and development of business applications strongly.
+ Specific knowledge of Oracle databases, PL/SQL, C#/C++/C, Open Source, Korn Shell Script, Perl or Progress 4GL highl
**What You Will Be Doing**
+ Understand and help define requirements and perform analysis for various strategic and tactical projects for the purpose of assisting in developing or modifying simple to moderately complex software programs to meet the desired business need.
+ Assist in developing and submitting requirements to programmers.
+ Assist with review sessions to discuss the requirements or desired system functions with developers, quality analysts and management.
+ Potentially perform the development function if applicable.
+ Serve as IT Analyst Associate for assigned projects if applicable.
+ Assist in performing moderately complex analysis of data and system, including loading and balancing creation of derived fields and formatting, process flows and data diagrams.
+ Assist in performing all development tasks required to ensure the accuracy of each software program within the specified timeframes.
+ Work closely with management on assigned projects from inception through implementation ensuring adequate internal communication and user involvement is maintained.
+ Analyze client and customer needs as required; assists in the requirement process, development, unit testing of simple to moderately complex code.
+ Proactively obtain information needed for the successful development of software programs.
+ Program and test using Informatica, PL/SQL, Progress and other programming languages as specified.
+ Complete required documentation as needed to provide a full and clear history of development and changes.
+ Assist in investigating issues and developing resolutions in a timely manner with a technical author.
+ Follow pre-established departmental standards and guidelines as they pertain to design and development; adheres to the goal of delivering and maintaining the highest quality of customer service to our clients.
+ Provide feedback and suggestions to improve processes to IT management/Team Lead.
+ Work closely with project managers to meet and complete project milestones accurately and on time.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
+ Support the organization's quality program(s).
+ Travel as needed.
