HOW A IT APPLICATIONS MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Plan, initiate, and manage information technology projectsLead and guide the work of technical staffServe as liaison between business and technical aspects of projectsPlan project stages and assess business implications for each stageMonitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are metPossess and apply expertise on multiple complex work assignmentsAssignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasksPerform independent thinking and complex tasksMay supervise others

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:


Education:

Masters of Science degree; OR in lieu of degree, an additional 2 years of relevant work experience is required


Required Experience:

15+ years of related professional work experience 


Required Technical Skills:

Demonstrated experience with the Configuration, Management and Implementation of all infrastructure components, applications, hardware, and toolsDemonstrated experience with managed network, security and infrastructure operations and internet servicesDemonstrated hands-on experience with Salesforce, SharePoint, Appian, Power Apps, and ServiceNowDemonstrated experience with SLA/OLA management, Knowledge Management. Service Delivery, Continuous Service Improvement, and Problem Management


Security Clearance Level:

U.S. Citizenship RequiredPossess Q or TS level clearance (or their equivalency) with the ability to obtain a Q level clearance within six (6) months of hiringMust be eligible to obtain and maintain such clearance as a condition of employment


Required Skills and Abilities:

Effective administrative and organizational skillsEffective people management skillsExtensive knowledge of company policies, processes, and procedures - Understanding of company strategic goals and how they align to business operations


Preferred Certifications:

ITIL/ITIL v4Project Management

This role requires to be on-site in Washington, D.C.
