Job Duties:Avaya LLC seeks an IT Architecture Sr Manager (Irving, TX) to participate in critical projects from start to finish including requirements discovery and analysis, solutioning, deployment, testing, technology selection, and design configuration, training, change management, documentation, communication, and measuring business value. Understand and apply Avaya business processes and strategy through collaboration and regular engagement with key stakeholders and process owners. Interface SAP with our external applications, including Quoting and Provisioning, to improve systems usability and process efficiency. Translate business process requirements to SAP configuration and document solutions. Advise on the management of configuration and testing across the SAP environment. Support the identification and implementation of process improvement opportunities for complex business needs and recommend solutions to complex problems to support organizational strategic vision and priorities. Collaborate with other professional functional architects and business analysts to ensure end-to-end process integration and consistency. Understand non-SAP business systems and their interaction with SAP and assist in the support and management of those systems as part of our overall solutions portfolio. Collaborate with the Master Data Management team to provide input on strategy and initiatives to support management reporting requirements. Local telecommuting up to 2 days per week. Directly supervises 13 direct reports. 10% domestic travel and 10% international travel required.
Minimum Requirements:Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 15 years of experience in functional SAP, Quote to Cash, and subscription billing processes. Must have the following experience: architecting Quote to cash and Subscription billing solutions with SAP and non-SAP systems; designing and customizing applications in SAP Sales and Distribution, SAP S/4 HANA, Subscription Order Management, SAP Convergent charging, SAP Convergent Invoicing, Materials management and Revenue allocation and recognition areas; providing recommendations on improving business processes within Quote to cash, Subscription billing and Revenue recognition; designing custom solutions for new cloud / subscription offerings in SAP ECC 6.0 to support product; integration points between SAP SD, MM, LE, RAR and FICO; working on Usage charging and billing models; SAP BRIM, Integration of BRIM with FICA and RAR; full life cycle experience, including conducting blue printing workshops, configuration, and functional specification preparation; SAP ABAP, BADI, BAPI, Workflows, SAP Application link enabling (ALE/ Idocs), ABAP Webdynpro, Smartforms and SAP scripts; managing a cross-functional team; and capacity and budget planning, reporting for the SAP projects. 10% domestic travel required, 10% international travel required.
