Role Responsibilities:
Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets (including hardware, software, licenses, and warranties) and IT vendors
Analyze software asset data to identify trends, usage patterns, and opportunities for cost savings.
Analyze and manage costs associated with vendor services to optimize spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, provide recommendations and achieve cost savings.
Ensure all IT assets and vendors comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Generate regular reports on IT assets and vendor status, performance, utilization, and financial impact.
Work closely with IT, finance, legal and procurement teams to align asset and vendor management practices with organizational goals.
Maintain detailed records of assets and vendors including, renewals, changes, and maintenance activities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Address and resolve any issues or disputes with vendors in a timely and effective manner.
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential vendors and assess their capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
2+ years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Asset Management, Contracts/Pricing methodologies (IT preferred)
Experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Oracle Experience preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong analytical approach to problem solving, with a focus on managing tasks with appropriate urgency in a results-oriented global team environment.
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment, deliver high quality performance on multiple, simultaneous strategic, value-added tasks and priorities.
Excellent planning and organizational skills with a focus on accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to understand the long-term ("big picture").
Ability to draw conclusions from data and recommend strategic actions.
