IT Asset Management Analyst

Position Objective:

The IT Asset Management Analyst will be responsible to oversee Luminis Health’s technology resources and for coordinating and scheduling all IT requests from many different sources including but not limited to help desk tickets, service requests, Capital Projects and more. This position will also be responsible for dealing with vendors regularly for cabling and other improvement projects across the enterprise.  The candidate will also have equipment budget oversight for projects and requests and procurement responsibilities.

1. Hardware Management:

Tracking and managing employee workstations, mobile devices, and other hardware assetsEnsuring optimal use of hardware resourcesCoordinating the acquisition of necessary hardwareCoordinating the acquisition of individual user licensed software Maintaining an accurate inventory of hardware assets

2. Asset Inventory:

Building, maintaining, and regularly updating the company’s hardware inventoryEvaluating the organization’s asset requirements

3. Asset Strategy:

Developing a comprehensive asset management strategy while taking into account organizational goals, risks, compliance issues, and cost-effectivenessCreating and implementing policies for asset acquisition, maintenance, and disposal

4. Lifecycle Tracking:

Keeping track of assets throughout their lifecycleEnsuring compliance with organizational policies

5. Service Requests and Project Support:

Responsible for handling requests for moves and projects through the designated ticketing systemProvides excellent customer contact on service scheduling, pricing, and the status of Service requestsEnsures and verifies that service request tickets have assignments, and are being closed in a timely fashionMonitors and enforces policies and procedures according to department and Luminis Health guidelinesCommunicates effectively with technology leadership and all other cross-functional groups within Luminis Health and vendorsWorks closely with business owners, capital projects and other Luminis Health teams to ensure that the project plans and task completion go smoothly.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

The minimum level of education and experience for this position includes:

AA degree or current enrollment in college level courses, 4-year college degree (B.S. or B.A.) preferred. Professional experience will be considered in lieu of educationMinimum of five years (seven preferred) experience in an Asset Management/customer support environmentGood knowledge of MS Office applications and agile with systems and processes preferredOccasional coverage of various shifts in this 24x7x365 organization is required

Relevant certifications can enhance qualifications:

Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP): Ideally preferred.Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM)Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP)Certified Mobile Asset Manager (CMAM)Certification in IT Asset Disposition (CITAD)Certificate in Project Management (CompTIA Project+)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skillsStrong time management skills and detail orientedAbility to manage equipment budgets for projects and movesAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple prioritiesExcellent communication skills (oral and written)Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently and as a member of a team.

Working Conditions, Equipment, Physical Demands:

There is a reasonable expectation that employees in this position will not be exposed to blood-borne pathogens.

Physical Demands – Medium Duty - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
