Our Insurance Domain client is seeking a IT Assoc Project Manager Lead to join their team. As a Lead Project Manager you will be part of the client supporting Team. The ideal candidate will have Infrastructure, Applications, Merger & Acquisition and Data Center which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title: IT Assoc Project Manager Lead** **Location:** **100% remote** **Pay Range: $75-78/hr.** **Job Description:** For this contractor assignment, the IT Associate Project Manager (APM) Lead applies project management skills and leadership competencies in the end-to-end delivery of projects. These can include high complexity projects, and/or subprojects of a large program or Program/ Portfolio Management Office functions. Ensures the planning and execution phases meet the project scope, cost, schedule, and quality expectations approved by the project stakeholders throughout the project's lifecycle. **Day-to-Day Responsibilities:** • Decisive Leadership – Taking responsibility for guiding others’ actions and providing direction beyond the project team; stepping forward to take the lead in addressing difficult issues and making tough judgment calls. • Comfortable with ambiguous situations. • Demonstrates and understands the concept of a servant leader. • Knows when to flex processes to effectively manage a project for the situation given. • Drives to resolution on complex situations through the use of influence and collaboration. • Enables successful performance of others in reaching organizational goals. • Leverages a broad range of skills of others in work activities, including initiating a request for specialized skills where needed. • Provides feedback on velocity or overall effectiveness on a project. • Viewed as a Skilled Performer by others. • Communicates and presents effectively, ensuring that messages are suited to audience needs • Provides leadership and guidance to others for various methodologies (i.e. Agile (SCRUM), SDM and Waterfall) **Required skills:** • Excellent Organizational Skills • Excellent Communication • Infrastructure, Applications, and Data Center Experience • Mergers and Acquisition Experience **Preferred skills and experiences:** • Experience with Microsoft Project or Project Web Applications • Ability to navigate through ambiguous situations • Knowledge of testing and POC **EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:** - Bachelor's Degree or higher in a business or IT discipline and a minimum of four years related experience leading or facilitating formalized IT projects in application development, process, or infrastructure. - In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, a minimum of six years of related work experience leading or facilitating formalized IT projects in application development, process, or infrastructure.
