Description
We are looking for an experienced IT auditor to lead and oversee internal audit processes and teams. You will provide technical expertise and professional guidance to ensure audit objectives are met, review and approve audit workpapers, and manage IT internal audits, including Sarbanes-Oxley testing and operational projects. Key responsibilities include evaluating team performance, mentoring staff, participating in risk assessments to set audit priorities, managing larger teams on complex projects, and collaborating with leadership on risk strategy. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in IT Audit.
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of IT audit methodologies, concepts, tools, and objectives.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex IT audits in a healthcare, hospital, or social assistance environment.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to the healthcare industry, including HIPAA and HITECH.
• Proficient with auditing software such as ACL, IDEA, or similar.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to accurately analyze complex data and situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Solid problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex issues quickly and effectively.
• High degree of detail oriented ethics and integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
• Ability to travel as needed to conduct audits at different locations.
