IT Auditor
Description The IT Auditor is responsible for assisting in the execution of IT audits, including assessing IT controls, identifying risks, and recommending improvements. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of IT systems and processes. Responsibilities: + Test IT controls to ensure they are operating effectively and meeting security and compliance objectives + Review system access controls, change management processes, and data security policies + Analyze system logs and audit trails to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks + Identify and assess IT risks, including cyber security risks, data privacy risks, and operational risks + Evaluate the impact and likelihood of IT risks + Assist in preparing audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and management action plans + Document audit procedures and work papers + Analyze large datasets to identify trends and anomalies + Use data analytics tools to extract and interpret data + Review IT general controls, such as user access controls, change management, and security policies + Assess the design and operating effectiveness of IT general controls + Review IT application controls, such as input controls, processing controls, and output controls + Assess the design and operating effectiveness of IT application controls Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or related field + 1-3 years of experience in IT audit, IT security, or related field + Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and databases + Knowledge of IT security frameworks and standards (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001) + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Attention to detail and accuracy + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: + Certifications in IT audit, security, or risk management (e.g., CISA, CISM, CRISC) + Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Power BI) + Knowledge of specific industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, SOX) Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
