Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Auditor to join our team in the Energy/Natural Resources industry, located in Dallas, Texas. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As an IT Auditor, you will provide technical direction and support, organize networking sessions with external resources, and review IT infrastructure performance. Additionally, you will guide research on IT-related disciplines and ensure the IT infrastructure meets changing demands.
Responsibilities
• Reviews and approves development, organization, scheduling and presentation of formal/informal training and documentation regarding enterprise infrastructure processes and procedures.
• Designs, integrates, and enhances the server, storage and application software infrastructure and associated administration and maintenance plans ensuring industry-best practices and changing demands are meet.
• Design, integrate, and enhance the server, storage, and application software infrastructure
• Analyze and present reports on enterprise infrastructure capacity and performance to IT management
• Organize networking and liaison technical sessions with outside organizations to enhance the IT infrastructure
• Review and guide research on changes in IT-related disciplines, providing recommendations for enhancements
• Direct the efforts of internal IT staff or external technical or vendor support teams for optimal design and problem resolution activities
• Develop technical document libraries and present technical documentation to IT staff and management
• Review and approve development of formal/informal training and documentation regarding enterprise infrastructure processes and procedures
• Provide direction and guidance for technical information collection, planning, analyses, and standards development for the administration and maintenance processes for the enterprise infrastructure.
Requirements
• Solid understanding of SOX and PCI compliance frameworks
• Demonstrable expertise within Excel (vlookups, creation of, compiling into a workbook)
• Proficiency in developing and implementing Audit Programs
• Familiarity with DCAA regulations and guidelines
• Experience in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Capability to analyze and report on Audit Findings
• Strong skills in Auditing various IT systems and processes
• Experience in creating detailed Audit Plans
• Ability to prepare comprehensive Audit Reports
