We are looking for an agile, collaboration and development toolset administrator who will report to the automation services manager, and who’ll be tasked with both designing and implementing automated solutions for infrastructure and cloud environments as well as leading product development initiatives. This position combines technical hands-on responsibilities in automation and infrastructure with strategic, customer-focused agile product ownership. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional who excels in both technical automation and product management, thrives in agile environments, and has a strong understanding of development.
\nYOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
\n\nDesign, develop, and implement automated infrastructure solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability in cloud and on-premises environments.\nWrite, test, and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) scripts, using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, to provision, configure, and maintain environments.\nBuild code to manage infrastructure using the TDD principle\nEstablish and manage automation via CI/CD pipeline, ensuring a seamless build and deployment process.\nDevelop scripts and tools in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to streamline workflows, eliminate repetitive tasks, and increase automation coverage.\nWork closely with architects, DevOps and development teams to build robust CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.\nUtilize configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to manage system configurations and ensure consistency across environments.\nMonitor and troubleshoot infrastructure systems, performing root-cause analysis to resolve complex issues efficiently.\n\n
Product Vision and Roadmap:
\n\nDefine the vision, strategy, and roadmap for IT infrastructure automation products and services, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.\nCollaborate with stakeholders, including DevOps, development, and operations teams, to gather and prioritize requirements.\nCreate and manage a clear and prioritized product backlog, translating business needs into actionable user stories and tasks for the development team.\nLead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and review meetings, ensuring alignment on goals, deliverables, and timelines.\nAct as the voice of the customer and the business within the team, balancing technical feasibility with user needs and business objectives.\nTrack key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze metrics to assess product success, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.\n\nYOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
\n\nA bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience);\n7+ years of experience in infrastructure automation, DevOps, and systems engineering, and 2+ years of experience in Agile Product;\nProficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.\nStrong scripting and programming skills (e.g., Python, Ruby, PowerShell).\nExperience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket) and containerization platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).\nHands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.\nFamiliarity with RabbitMQ, Redis Cache and the development of scalable architectures.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and best practices for high availability and security.\nExperience in Agile methodologies, including managing backlogs, creating user stories, and leading sprint planning.\nStrong ability to communicate and translate business requirements into technical specifications.\nProficiency in Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and familiarity with performance tracking metrics.\nAbility to operate in an environment subject to regulatory compliance (ex: SOX, PCI, EMV, etc.).\nKnowledge of Governance and CyberSecurity best practices (ex: RBAC);\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues (onPrem or in Cloud (SaaS)) while being able to identify the root cause of problems and propose long-term solutions;\nExcellent communication skills and ability to summarize technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;\nAbility to manage multiple requests in parallel while respecting commitments and expectations;\nSpeak French and Intermediate level of English, to allow for technical discussions with suppliers that are mainly from US or English parts of Canada. \n\nIf you are passionate about infrastructure automation and excited to lead product development in an Agile environment, we would love to meet you!
