IT Automation Engineer

Position Responsibilities:
+ Design, deploy, and maintain autonomous Information Technology (IT) systems to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize infrastructure using AI, machine learning, predict issues, and automation technologies
+ Incorporate AI and machine learning to analyze data, enabling predictive maintenance, fault detection, and performance optimization
+ Create continuous monitoring systems to track the real-time health and performance of IT infrastructure and services
+ Develop and maintain automated incident response protocols for resolving system issues with minimal human intervention
+ Create and enhance scripts and workflows for automation, including provisioning, configuration management, and software deployment
+ Analyze historical data and performance metrics to identify trends, predict issues, and develop enhancement strategies
+ Maintain detailed documentation of autonomous IT operations processes, configurations, and procedures while staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices
+ Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Manufacturing, Logistics or related field and 3 plus years of related experience in Information Technology Operations, System Administration and/or Network Management or High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) and 6 plus years of specific experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s Degree
+ Certification in Artificial Intelligence (AI) machine learning and/or automation
