IT BI Developer
Description We are seeking an IT BI Developer to join our team. based in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will utilize your strong technical skills, analytical mindset, and ability to innovate to handle data analysis, data warehouse design, and ETL frameworks. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Plan, build, and maintain automated data pipelines for live dashboards to provide analytics support for business users. • Evaluate business initiatives, identify required data, and map relational database queries to ingest source data into the BI platform. • Apply your knowledge of business operations to clean data, apply relevant transformations and aggregations. • Collaborate with the BI department to improve efficiencies in data processing, manage BI growth initiatives, and support business users. • Develop dashboards and create rich data-visualization designs. • Work on data science, predictive analytics, and AI modeling. • Engage in BI desktop and mobile app development within the BI platform. • Handle project management, presentations, and executive collaboration. • Use complex SQL select statements, joins, and aggregations, demonstrating your comprehension of relational data models. • Manipulate datasets using data programming languages such as Python, Microsoft SQL, and Domo. • Ensure high comprehension of data ETL processes, data quality analysis, and record update logic. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of five years of experience working as an IT BI Developer. • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL is required for managing and manipulating databases • Knowledge and experience with Domo for business intelligence tools and data visualization • Experience with Python for scripting and automation tasks is necessary • Proficiency in Microsoft SSRS for report generation and data analysis • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is desired • Must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of data warehousing concepts • Experience in data modeling, ETL development, and data cube development is a plus • Familiarity with the Healthcare/NHS industry's regulations and standards is preferred.
