Job Description

We are seeking a Business Analyst for a contract to-hire role in Golden, CO.   Currently this role is a remote/telecommuting role, but once safe to do so, this role will be onsite.  Due to the need to be available to be onsite when needed, candidates local to the area are encouraged to apply.  

In this role, you will be the liaison between departments and collaborate with them on technology roadmaps and projects to support their strategic goals.  Additional responsibilities include: 

 

Serves as a liaison between the Technology  department and other business departmentsAnalyzes business processes, identifies technology needs, gathers business/technical requirements, recommends solutions, and manages technical projectsCreates user documentation and standards, and plans and conducts training as necessaryUnderstands current technology in use in the environmentResearches evolving technologies that can improve service to customers and improve operational effectiveness and efficiencyManages vendor relationshipsParticipates in the development of specifications and ongoing management of proposals and contracts for hardware, software, and servicesMay train and guide the work of less experienced business analysts

Qualifications3+ years of experience as Business AnalystBroad understanding and ability to evaluate and pilot new technologyExperience building collaborative working relationships with customers and IT staffAbility to hit the ground running and move from high level goals to tactical roadmapsExcellent communication in presentations, written communication, and oral discussionProven ability to create business cases and make recommendationsStrong knowledge of the principles and practices of business analysis, business process improvement, and project management

Preferred: 

 

Bachelor’s degree and  five (5) years’ experience as a Business AnalystCertifications in business analysis, business process improvement, project management, or technology also preferred.

 

Additional Information

This contract to hire role will be based out of Golden, CO  and can telecommute initially. Once safe to do so, will work onsite Monday- Friday during normal business hours.  Due to the need to be available to be onsite when needed, candidates local to the area are encouraged to apply.
