IT Business Analyst

About the Role: We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to join the Gore Medical Digital IT team. In this role you will generate clearly defined solution requirements supporting business, application, and user while developing domain expertise for a variety of end-to-end processes supporting systems implementation and sustainment. Initial work supporting SAP implementation, growing to support additional IT systems enabling the development, manufacture, and sale of our world class medical devices.

 

This position offers multiple work arrangements: on-site at our facility in Flagstaff, Arizona, hybrid or fully remote work allowed in most locations within the United States, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

  Responsibilities:  Analyze and document business processes supporting a variety of value streams enabling ERP, MES, other enterprise software platforms, MOM, and supporting systems Perform business analysis of IT supported applications as a core or extended team member of program and project implementation and maintenance efforts Partner with cross functional project and supporting resources including Project and Change Management, Business SMEs, Architects, Developers, Analytics, Quality, Data and Process Specialists, Training and more Deliver functional and non-functional requirements supporting business processes and rules, use cases, user stories and data structures Ensure acceptance testing, training plans and materials confirm ability to meet business needs supporting combination of people, process, and system Initiate and drive definition and communication of best practices and supporting methods enabling associate and contractor peers in role, project continuity, effectiveness, and sustainment Translate current and future state business processes targeting operational effectiveness, digitalization, product development and manufacture Identify solution coverage and gaps and other drivers requiring feasibility studies, additional evaluation or decisioning with focus to define and mitigate early Actively identify and maintain system documentation alongside platform and system lifecycle and business need changes Facilitate workshops driving to clear requirements and capabilities understanding between business, user community, and technical, negotiating outcomes and effectively resolving conflict

Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business, or a related field Minimum 5 years proven experience as an IT Business Analyst Experience implementing and maintaining GxP software systems in regulated environments Proficiency with ALM systems (i.e., VERA, SAP Solution Manager) Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Enterprise One), MES systems (e.g., Camstar, Siemens, SAP), MOM systems and integrations Demonstrated analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills supporting approach to process and systems implementation Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including supporting project definition and performance Proficient in English, including strong written and oral communication skills Ability to work independently, as part of a team, in support of peers, effectively across time zones, with remote and on-prem team members and groups Ability to travel up to 20%, as required

 

Desired Qualifications: 

Experience developing and implementing functional excellence within IT Business Analyst field Demonstrated application of lean practices supporting manufacturing environments, process implementation, and project management Agile and Scaled Agile project management practice knowledge and certification

 

Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore’s remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed. ​For fully remote roles, the following locations are not eligible for new fully remote work arrangements: Alaska and Hawaii (for all roles), and Rhode Island (for wage/hourly roles only).
