Pay Range: $63,039.34 to $87,428.12 

Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.

 


Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Information Technology Department is seeking a full-time Business Analyst to join our Team of IT based Business Analysts. 

 

Role:

Work as a technical liaison between Kwik Trip’s Production and Information Technology teams.Design and propose appropriate solutions and strategies for new or changing business initiatives.Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: Identify/understand needs of the various production facilities. Acquire input from department leaders to determine necessary changes and enhancements. Work with technical staff to design and develop innovative solutions. Utilize JIRA, ServiceNow, and Scrum methodologies to help with defining, planning, and prioritization of work.Assimilate and translate complex technical information into concise and practical information for utilization by business stakeholders and then communicate those processes back to IT. Perform technical functions; resolve issues with both technical and business staff, external vendors, and other project stakeholders. Assist business and development staff with the creation and maintenance of documentation relating to business processes.Study business and information needs to determine if processes can be enhanced with new technology and/or improved processes.

 

Qualifications: 

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldOr 2+ years of experience within an IT related field.

 

Candidates should possess the following:

Experience within the area of Supply Chain is a plus.Exposure to Jira or other ticket monitoring tools.Outstanding organization skills, including ability to handle multiple assignments or projects concurrently.Experience working with API(s), CSS, JavaScriptUnderstanding of SQL and standardized database designKnowledge of enterprise reporting tools (Power BI, SSRS)Experience with cross system integrationsKnowledge of Agile project management methodsPrevious experience working with executive management, employing the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience. 

 

Successful candidates should demonstrate:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software for word processing, spreadsheets, visualizations, and project planningExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsSkilled in task and time managementStrong leadership to effectively influence change and alternative ways of thinking.High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-throughAbility to educate individuals on new systems as well as changing software features and functionalities.Ability to develop approaches to solving problems in new business situations and technical environments.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with department directors, managers, co-workers, and external vendors.Ability to ask appropriate questions, interpret co-worker requests, and develop detailed functional design specifications.Ability to discuss technical issues with technical and non-technical co-workers. Ability to work with IT Management and Networking Services group to determine long-term system platforms & roadmaps for the implementation of or migration to new infrastructure. Ability to prioritize and organize a variety of projects and responsibilities. Ability to work with the other IT Business Analysts to employ Enterprise best-practices and solutions. 

 

Work Schedule:  Monday through Friday, daytime hours, or as needed to perform duties.
