IT Business Consultant - Rev Tech, Loyalty, Data Analytics

We are looking for a Senior IT Product Consultant who will play a vital role in uniting and delivering upon product solutions that meet the needs of business stakeholders, serving as a key advisor to all parties through facilitating communication with respective IT stakeholders. This technologist will be instrumental in providing enterprise and portfolio-level solutions while leveraging data and insights to ensure business stakeholders, product owners, and engineers are making the best decisions. The ideal candidate will lead through being a strong consultant and technology leader for key modernizations, while serving as the key advisor for all Inventory Data resources and responsibilities. Responsibilities including but not limited to: + Partner with various IT divisions and business units that interface with Inventory platforms to support technology solutions, and technology adjacent business value added functions. + Drive discussions around new and emerging capabilities and help determine the best way to modernize technologies to enable business solutions. + Consult with businesses teams regularly to perform initial assessment of technology challenges and capabilities, while owning and coordinating acceptance testing strategies cross-functionally. + Leverage deep expertise in Airline Ticketing, Revenue Accounting, Airline Interline agreements, including onboarding and/or maintenance of new partner airlines or joint ventures. + Design and develop strategic vision and delivery of most viable products while overseeing project and program milestones, ensuring alignment among stakeholders throughout the lifecycle + Utilize experience and knowledge in large enterprises, specifically within the airline industry, to spearhead projects incorporating integration of multiple technology solutions and applications, including enhancement and maintenance of technology ecosystems. + Provide strategic support to customers in defining and designing business process to help identify technologies based on customer requirements, including clear business and user case studies and stories What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology related field, or equivalent experience + 10+ years of experience, preferably in a technology leadership or technology program management capacity. + 8 years of experience with a consulting company or large enterprise, specifically within airline industry + Hands-on experience managing large & complex engagements and prioritizing competing business initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions + 8+ years of experience in Airline Booking, Reservations, Ticketing systems space + Strong understanding of both business and IT domains, with ability to lead and effectively bridge gaps and drive solutions + 5+ years of experience leading or mentoring others, including technical product engineers, product owners, and large technical teams with diverse skillsets + Solid understanding of resiliency, cost optimization, security, and related processes + Strong business analytical skills and confidence in communicating to key partners + Experience with business case development, strategic planning, and program management. + Strong leadership presence, interpersonal and negotiation skills. + Excellent written and presentation skills. + Team oriented and focused. + Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. + Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
