IT Business Lead Analyst/Project Manager - C13 - JERSEY CITY/NEW YORK
The IT Business Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning. The Banking, International and Client Technology Organization is looking for a Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager that will be part of the Program Management team, delivering initiatives for Client Portal related projects within Services, Markets and Banking . The role will be responsible for establishing governance procedures that will help the project teams to initiate, plan, execute **Responsibilities:** + Accountable for planning and managing a group of related technology projects or activities in a coordinated way from inception through successful delivery. + Partner with Portal architects and developers to drive technical requirements for portal architecture and authentication. Analyze current state and target states; translate to complete and detailed technical requirements. + Perform business and technical analysis to deliver a feature (business workflow, data analysis, data sourcing, schema definition, API specifications, UIUX,) + Facilitate and put forward technical solutions required to integrate portals, and their CRM systems, user entitlement feeds, authentication and other features onto the common Enterprise Portal Framework. + Have a deep understanding of the design approaches and technologies utilized in your area. + Recognize complex designs and propose simplified solutions by working with software developers and solutions architects. + Partner with supporting teams needed to deliver a project (Data Engineering, Infrastructure, PMO Governance, Information Security teams, Front Office Technology Teams) + Work across multiple scrum teams. Work may be across projects, applications, scrum teams, and/or technologies or your work may be vertically focused on a single platform, or application. + Understand the needs of the engineers and technical teams who have to build, maintain, and operate the Portal Framework for the life of the system. + Work with limited guidance, seeking guidance as needed, be able to deal with ambiguity. + Have a deep understanding of the business and technical requirements for the solutions being built. + Communicate progress, provide escalation management, identify, assess, track and mitigate issues/risks at multiple levels. Do so in concise, accurate and professional manner for varying levels of audience. + Align dependent organizations and remove/mitigate all blocking issues. + Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels. + Determine if success metrics are in place and if not, work to define them. + Influence teams to improve concurrent project delivery by helping with prioritization. + Produce project documents such as process flow diagrams, architectural design, mock ups, documentation, release notes, roadmap. + Track all deliverables, define milestones. + Organize and conduct productive meetings: status calls, deep dive, issue resolution. **Qualifications:** + 6-10 years of experience in Project & Program Management + Bachelor’s degree in Technology. + Understanding of Web & Mobile oriented application architectures + Experience with Client Portals in Banking + Experience delivering with an agile methodology + Proficiency in BAPM tools (Jira, Confluence, Visio) with extensive experience using Excel for data analysis + Experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle + Excellent analytical skills + Ability to mobilize and influence cross project team members + Demonstrated experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly, effectively influencing across cross functional teams. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Demonstrable ability to drive change + Autonomous, but knows when to escalate or seek assistance **Education:** + Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience + Master's degree preferred This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
