Job overview and responsibilities

 

The Collaboration Platform Service Owner will be responsible for the strategic management, development, and support of our collaboration platforms. This role will ensure that our Google Workspace and Microsoft technologies are effectively integrated and utilized to enhance productivity and collaboration across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Google and Microsoft collaboration tools, with a proven track record of managing and optimizing these platforms in a corporate environment.

 

Platform Management: Oversee the administration, configuration, and support of Google Workspace and Microsoft collaboration tools. Integration: Ensure seamless integration between Google and Microsoft platforms to provide a unified collaboration experience. Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the use of collaboration tools, driving adoption and maximizing ROI. User Support: Provide expert-level support and training to end-users, addressing any issues or concerns related to collaboration tools. Vendor Management: Liaise with Google and Microsoft representatives to stay updated on new features, best practices, and upcoming changes. Security & Compliance: Ensure that all collaboration platforms comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Performance Monitoring: Monitor platform performance, usage, and user satisfaction, implementing improvements as needed. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures related to collaboration platforms. Project Management: Lead and participate in projects related to the enhancement or implementation of collaboration tools.

 

Education and experience

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience managing Google Workspace and Microsoft collaboration tools in a corporate environment. Relevant certifications in Google Workspace and Microsoft technologies are highly desirable. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Workspace administration and configuration. Strong knowledge of Microsoft M365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related technologies. Experience with integration tools and techniques for Google and Microsoft platforms. Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
