Our client, a leader in the IT services industry, is seeking a Weekend IT Computer Operator to join their team. As a Weekend IT Computer Operator, you will be part of the IT Operations department supporting critical Data Center functions. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Weekend IT Computer Operator
**Location:** Onsite, New Albany, OH
**Pay Range:** $30-33/ per hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Operate, monitor, and support IT infrastructure and Data Center environments.
+ Ensure the timely completion of all scheduled batch cycles and processes during your shift.
+ Identify and resolve issues that interrupt the normal workflow of system processing.
+ Document shift activities and incidents according to defined procedures.
+ Engage with vendors and third parties to troubleshoot and resolve issues as needed.
**What's Needed?**
+ 5 years’ experience as an operator in a data center environment.
+ Control-M experience required.
+ Knowledge of service management software; ServiceNow experience is a plus.
+ Experience with monitoring software; SolarWinds experience is a plus.
+ Experience with both mainframe and distributed systems operations.
