Detailed Job Description:
Patching and Maintenance:
Co-ordinate with customer network and platform teams on Globalscape server patching activities(on a weekly and monthly basis) Perform pre & post patching activities and validation Daylight savings activities Administer Electronic File Transfer Program using GlobalScape EFT, DMZ gateway and Business Activity Monitoring and Web Portal tools. Runtime Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning Certificate Management Ensure the security of file transfers utilizing protocols such as HTTPS, FTPS, SFTP, AS2 Flexibility to work on Weekend to remediate P1/Critical INC Create Powershell Scripts for file transfers and utilities. Able to do performance tuning Resolve technical problems effectively and efficiently within defined SLA working with internal functional and software development teams, and external vendors to identify root causes and solutions. Log service requests with vendors and coordinate diagnostics, requested actions and testing with functional teams. Identify and implement system process improvements leveraging the software, best practices, automation, innovation and technology upgrades. Contribute to the creation of Support Design Specification and Support Supplement Documents. Provide ad-hoc reporting as required by the business. Adhere to Customer Solution Delivery Framework, Incident Management, and Change Management procedures. Lead or assist with day-to-day service delivery issues and processes as required. Work with project teams to understand the concepts and technical infrastructure of the to-be implemented modules/functionalities and create / document operations procedures. Ability to manage self-workload, set and meet customer expectations. Ensures effective shift handover. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
