Description:
As a Senior Consultant, He/she will be a Senior Consultant in the team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. He/she will support operation function for managing and maintaining multiple Citrix Server Farms including Zones, Licensing, Printing, Policies, Worker Groups, and Load Balancing, DDC, SQL. He/she will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. Extensive experience in Citrix along with one of these technologies (Windows AD or VMWare) is MUST.
Location for this position is Berlin, Connecticut. This position may require 15% travel or relocation
Qualification:
Basic:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.”At least 7 years of experience with Information Technologies specially Citrix along with at least 5 years in Windows/AD or VMWare administration
Preferred:
Experience in Citrix XenApp/Presentation Server 6.5 and above, Provisioning Services, Web Interface, Net Scaler SDX and VPX, and Citrix VDI Infrastructure Xendesktop 7.6 and aboveExperience in setup and management of Citrix Server Farms, Zones, Licensing, Printing, Policies, Worker Groups, and Load Balancing, DDC, SQL.Strong Knowledge of Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, Redirected Folders, Roaming Profiles and general Windows InfrastructureExperience in App virtualization e.g. Microsoft Application Virtualization (App-V), Citrix Unidesk App ZeroHave 5 year experience with VMWare Administration 5.5/6.5 or MS Hyper VExperience in Hyper Converged Infrastructure like Nutanix 5.5 (or VCE/VBLOCK , FlexPod) Administration is a plusExperience in Azure/AWS Cloud IaaS, PaaS services and Infrastructure management is a plusData Center level experience with HP based physical standalone and blade servers builds and their managementCitrix Certification will be an added advantageStrong verbal and written communication skills along with demonstrated excellence in customer service is essential.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsReady to work in challenging environment along with extended support if situation demands.
